The Peterson Family // Provo Canyon, UT

Seriously this family is adorable and they have become some of our really good friends! Steven met Brandon last year when they both were applying for the industrial design program. I truly believe that one of the reason's Steven felt prompted to go into that program was so that he could meet Brandon, which in turn I met Amy! YAY! I seriously feel so blessed to have their friendship. Two Saturday's ago, Brandon wanted to do a couples video of Steven and I. We didn't know until we go to the park, but when Brandon said it I couldn't have been more excited!!!!!! We never got a wedding video, since we had to pay for our wedding. I am really looking forward to seeing it, but take your time Brandon, I know you have LOTS of other projects and school.

Brandon and Steven both love videoing and both are equally very good at it! I am really excited to see what the video looks like. Brandon said it would take probably until thanksgiving, but heck I am just excited! Anyway! This family is just wonderful and awesome! So glad that I was able to take some pictures after Brandon filmed us! They are adorable in every way and they are just some of the NICEST people! Amy is one of the best mothers I know, besides me own mother of course. You can just tell how much she loves her little girl. Then again how could you not love that adorable little thang??

Well enjoy! Feel free to leave a comment if you would like. They always find me joy!

Thank you Brandon for shooting the video for us and thank you for letting me take these for you! Just adorable!

Morgan's Session Pictures // Seattle, WA

When I knew I was going to be visiting Washington this last summer, I knew that meant I would be able to take my little brothers senior pictures! First off, I can NOT believe that my brother is old enough to be a senior! WHAT!! Now I feel old! I am really excited for his future and I think he can do anything as long as he puts his mind towards it! My brother is also especially good looking, no I am not bias, i've had MANY people tell me how good looking he is. He was blessed to have two good looking parents, plus I might add a beautiful family! Seriously everyone is just SUPER cute!

Anyway, take a look at these pictures of this stud! I think he is single, so ladies watch out! :D

The Burke Family // American Fork Canyon

The Burke family is just adorable! It was such a great experience and a safe one at that. You probably are wondering, why did she just say safe? Funny story with that! Rebecca found me on google by typing in alpine loop photographer, which is so awesome! I am on google people!!! But anyway, so she contacted me and I was like YEAH! I would love to take pictures for you! As the weeks went on I starting thinking about their session and I realized I didn't really know them. I then found her on facebook and became friends with her and learned about it. Well I realized that she didn't use facebook very much, which meant I really couldn't get to know her. Then in my freak mind I began to wonder, what if this girl is fake and it's really someone who is going to set up a photo shoot, meet me there, beat me up, and take my equipment. I know a little irrational, and my husband thought the same. We also didn't have any common friends on FB so that added to my concern. Because I was nervous I asked my neighbor to come with me. She gladly came and it was so much fun to get to know her!

Anyway! back to the story, I met them and realized WOW these are some of THE NICEST people! Rebecca was seriously so kind and thoughtful and her husband, Matt, was equally so. It was so pleasant to talk with Rebecca, I felt as if we could be good friends or something. She is also GORGEOUS! Sometimes I get this high school flash back and think pretty people are mean, so I was also nervous there. Let me tell you, she is beautiful inside and out! Matt and Rebecca make a beautiful couple and their dog is ADORABLE! After taking their pictures I cam home and asked my husband if we could get a dog, he said no. Sigh! But hey at least I was able to play with Duke for a little, got my dog fix! :)

Thank you Rebecca for asking me to take these pictures for you! It was such a wonderful opportunity and it was seriously a pleasure to met you, your husband, and Duke!

The Barnes Beloved Session! // American Fork, Utah

I absolutely taking picture of couples because their love for each other is so easy to portray through pictures! Matthew and Amanda are seriously super cute together! Amanda and I were roommates a few years ago and we instantly became friends. We didn't know each other before we were roommates, but I was sure glad that she turned out to be an awesome roommate and friend! We had so much fun together. One very fond memory I had of Amanda was one day she was taking a nap, all though I didn't know. You see Amanda is the tiniest thing you will ever meet, so when she sleeps under her covers, she just blends right in, not even a bump! So you could see how I had no idea that she was there. I can't exactly what remember what happened but she awoke and scared the living day lights out of me!! HA! Seriously fun times with that girl! Glad that we randomly became roommates.

Thank you Amanda for asking me to take these pictures for you. You are gorgeous! You and your husband are super cute together!

The Beautiful Laura! // Provo, Utah

Laura has asked if I could take a few head shots for her and I was like YES!!!! Knowing two things 1. that the pictures would turn out awesome because she is BEAUTIFUL 2. I knew that I could take a few pictures that were more than just head shots! Seriously Laura is just so beautiful inside and out. She is the kind of person that you feel really comfortable around and is just genuinely nice. When you meet her you can just tell that she really cares about what you are saying and she is interested.

Laura is a certified Yoga instructor and personal trainer! She is in such amazing shape! She really knows her stuff when it comes to personal health and wellness. Not only does she well educated but she really enjoys sharing that knowledge with others. Being able to teach yoga and personal training, I think, really helps her to share that with others.

The First time I met Laura I was very impressed by her and I thought I think she would make a good friend, turns out that is true. It helps that she is just very nice. Laura is also SUPER devoted to serving the Lord and making sure she is doing things that are pleasing to Him. You can just see the light she has because of her great desires to learn from the Savior. So thankful for someone who is a great example of a true Christian and being faithful.

Thank you Laura for asking me to take these for you, it was seriously such a pleasure! OOOOH and I have to mention on kind of embarrassing thing. I have this lovely Pelican case for all my millions of SD cards. When I got to the photoshoot I couldn't find my case!! I was soooo embarrassed. My husband had taken them out for a video project he was going. Thankful Laura saved the saved the day and have a SD card for me to borrow! She was so patient and nice about it while I was just feeling so unprofessional and thinking she might take by wanting me to take pictures of her. But as you can see, I over worried! haha :) Well take a look!

These pictures were shot with my Canon 6D with the 70-200 F/2.8 L lens! :D

Steve & Cathryn's Wedding // Sundance, Utah

Yesterday I had an awesome opportunity to photograph a destination wedding in Sundance. Sundance is one of the most beautiful places in Northern, Utah! You can just look at these pictures and tell how GORGEOUS it is! Also another cool fact, to the North the sky was super moody and to the South it was gorgeously blue. That added a good variety to these images.

I had a friend of mine second shoot with me, her name is Amanda. It was so nice to have her there and I am sure she got equally great pictures! It is always great to have another photographer there with you, especially since I had never met the bride and groom face to face until yesterday.

Thank you so much Steve and Cathryn for allowing me be apart of your special day. You two are beautiful together and I know that you life will be filled with love and happiness!

The Peterson Family // Utah County Photography

Alright so where do I start, the Peterson family are ADORABLE! Seriously just take a look at these pictures! Brandon is a good friend of my husbands, they met in a class at Brigham Young University. Brandon brought his canon 60D to class and that sparked a conversation, because they both LOVE film and videography. Since then they have done a lot of filming things together and with that comes having them over for games. When I met Amy I thought, I think we could be good friends. Amy also loves photography and she is trying to learn how to use a DSLR. I am looking forward to teaching her a few tips and tricks.

Anyway, enough of my writing, I just am really thankful for the opportunity I had to photograph this cute family! Thank you so much Brandon and Amy for letting me take these pictures!
