5 Year Anniversary Pictures // Covington, Washington

My brother, Michael, and his wife, Tawni, have been married for five years next month!! I am so very thankful to have the opportunity to capture the love that that have for one another. I cannot believe that it has already been five years! I remember growing up and Michael, Michelle (my twin), and I were like best friends and we always played with each other. I think that it helped that we were all so close in age. It always was fun growing up.

I remember the very first day I met Tawni, which was seriously a day I will never forget. Tawni and Michael were living in Arizona at the time. Michael was able to get a little more time off than Tawni, so Michael visited Washington a little sooner. Anyway, we ended up picking Tawni up from the airport. Michael and I didn't know how to get to the airport, but Michelle did. She was super confident that she new exactly how to get there. Well we headed off to the airport. As we were on the highway enjoying each others company suddenly Michelle yells, after passing an exit, oh that is the exit!!!! Right when she said that Michael drives the truck through the grassy shoulder onto the exit!! We were seriously laughing our heads off! I also remember as we were driving to pick Tawni up and we were asking Michael about her, he said the nicest things about her. He was telling us how beautiful he thought she was and how he didn't really like that she thought she wasn't attractive. When he said that I thought, is this my brother? That is so romantic! haha! Anyway, Michael and Tawni are just so precious together and the first day I met her was a great experience for me.

Lastly, I want to thank Michael and Tawni for allowing me to capture the love they share. May your love forever be strong and faithful.

The Peterson Family // Utah County Photography

Alright so where do I start, the Peterson family are ADORABLE! Seriously just take a look at these pictures! Brandon is a good friend of my husbands, they met in a class at Brigham Young University. Brandon brought his canon 60D to class and that sparked a conversation, because they both LOVE film and videography. Since then they have done a lot of filming things together and with that comes having them over for games. When I met Amy I thought, I think we could be good friends. Amy also loves photography and she is trying to learn how to use a DSLR. I am looking forward to teaching her a few tips and tricks.

Anyway, enough of my writing, I just am really thankful for the opportunity I had to photograph this cute family! Thank you so much Brandon and Amy for letting me take these pictures!

Thomas & Kelli Wedding // Logan, Utah Temple

I first want to start off and thank Thomas and Kelli for letting me photograph their special day, being sealed for time and all eternity in the Logan Utah Temple. What a great opportunity it was to photograph the warm feeling that comes when two are united for eternity. Thank you very much!!

I actually know Kelli from growing up, well her family more of less.  One of my REALLY good friends growing up is her little sister, Karma, so when Kelli asked me to photograph her wedding I was exciting because 1. I LOVE photographing weddings and 2. I LOVE her family so much! They are such great people! It was seriously so fun to see Kelli's family, after not seeing them for a long time. What I thought also awesome was I saw Karma, which I had not seen in years!! I think it has been at least 6 year since I had talked to her. What a great day!

Congrats Thomas and Kelli for getting sealed! May God bless you with continuing happiness and love.
