The Fairbanks Family // American Fork, UT

I met Jen a few weeks ago when a bunch of us photographers ladies got together to get some head shots! It was super fun and I really LOVED getting to know Jen! She is super cute and super fun. The Fairbanks consists of Dad and Mom and 4 boys. I would say cute little boys, but one is not little. They all photograph SUPER well and are just cute cute! I can tell that there are lots of girls going to chase after these boys, if not now, certainly int he future!! At the end I totally got their names totally down, which is an accomplishment!

Jen picked a beautiful location, which I knew she would. As photographers you know the best places to photograph people, and Tibble Fork Reservior is one of my favorite places to photograph people. Thanks for picking this location!

Anyway, thank you for asking me to take these pictures for you. It is because of people like the Fairbanks that I get to do one of the things I love the most. Your family is just adorable in every way!

Heiniger Family // Apline Loop, Utah

I seriously had so much fun photographing this family, they are absolutely ADORABLE, especially their daughters Christeen and Elizabeth. I really loved their free spirit.

Heidiann and her husband make such wonderful and patient parents. Honestly I was really impressed by their nature as parents. I could tell that they reflected the light of Christ in their relationship and parenting. That is one thing I love about photography is observe parents and how they react to their children.

I learned a very important lesson when I photographed Elizabeth, don't take you stuffed animal from her, even if you are trying to use it as a tool to get her to smile! haha I honestly felt so bad, and I have learned my lesson not to take children's special toys from them. The site of me made he cry. Poor girl! Then we traveled to another location and things changed. She must had forgot about me because she was TOTALLY happy after that. So glad for how easy she was to forgive and forget.

Christeen had to be the CUTEST and funniest little girl! Seriously she stole my heart by the end of this session, seriously just adorable! My favorite picture of her is her hand up to her lips shhhhing! Adorable! Both girls were so photogenic and adorable. Loved those two girls!

The Burke Family // American Fork Canyon

The Burke family is just adorable! It was such a great experience and a safe one at that. You probably are wondering, why did she just say safe? Funny story with that! Rebecca found me on google by typing in alpine loop photographer, which is so awesome! I am on google people!!! But anyway, so she contacted me and I was like YEAH! I would love to take pictures for you! As the weeks went on I starting thinking about their session and I realized I didn't really know them. I then found her on facebook and became friends with her and learned about it. Well I realized that she didn't use facebook very much, which meant I really couldn't get to know her. Then in my freak mind I began to wonder, what if this girl is fake and it's really someone who is going to set up a photo shoot, meet me there, beat me up, and take my equipment. I know a little irrational, and my husband thought the same. We also didn't have any common friends on FB so that added to my concern. Because I was nervous I asked my neighbor to come with me. She gladly came and it was so much fun to get to know her!

Anyway! back to the story, I met them and realized WOW these are some of THE NICEST people! Rebecca was seriously so kind and thoughtful and her husband, Matt, was equally so. It was so pleasant to talk with Rebecca, I felt as if we could be good friends or something. She is also GORGEOUS! Sometimes I get this high school flash back and think pretty people are mean, so I was also nervous there. Let me tell you, she is beautiful inside and out! Matt and Rebecca make a beautiful couple and their dog is ADORABLE! After taking their pictures I cam home and asked my husband if we could get a dog, he said no. Sigh! But hey at least I was able to play with Duke for a little, got my dog fix! :)

Rickard Family // Utah Lake

Alli and are are co-workers together and when I met her about a year ago, I thought she was just a really nice person. As a new employee, I was such a nub and didn't know ANYTHING! I was always asking her and another girl questions all the time. She would always response super nice and very helpful. She pretty much saved my job because of her willingness to help. Then when she went on maternity leave I realize AH one of my security blankets wont be there! That was a time where I really had to think more through things, but I knew that if I really did even have a question, she would answer it, even being on maternity leave. Guess what? I actually had to ask her a few questions.  I was really glad to see her come back after her long maternity leave. She is just awesome and very beautiful!

Alli's husband, Shane is a WAY into video and photography, so I felt a little pressure taking their pictures knowing he would probably be more particular than others. He really enjoyed video and has a sweet camera to match with it! 

Thank you Richard family for letting me taking your family pictures! It was just so beautiful on the lake, it totally looked like the ocean to me! Hope you enjoy the pictures!

The Bills Family // Alpine Loop, Utah

The Bills family has a special place in my heart, your might already know why, based on my last name, they are my family!! I have been apart of this family for 16 months now and I have been so very thankful to be apart of their family.

Darren and Debbie have 5 sons and now, 3 daughter in laws. They have raised such amazing young men. Each are very smart and gentleman like. I know this from experience because my husband is one of the smartest guys I know and I have never been treated so well in my life! I know that Steven, my husband, would not turn out this well if it weren't from some amazing parents. I believe they have taught him very well. I know that he will in return make an amazing dad one day.

This family is just amazing and they also are so good looking! Take a look at these gorgeous people that I am so glad to call my family.

OOOOOH and I forgot to mention something VERY important. I didn't take the picture of Steven and I, my awesome sister in law took over the camera and took some beautiful pictures! She is also a photographer, check her out! Her name is Naomi. I am very thankful for great sister in laws. Naomi is someone I really look up to in the photography world. She's actually one of the photographers who photographed our engagements and wedding. You can also check those out on her blog!

The Peterson Family // Utah County Photography

Alright so where do I start, the Peterson family are ADORABLE! Seriously just take a look at these pictures! Brandon is a good friend of my husbands, they met in a class at Brigham Young University. Brandon brought his canon 60D to class and that sparked a conversation, because they both LOVE film and videography. Since then they have done a lot of filming things together and with that comes having them over for games. When I met Amy I thought, I think we could be good friends. Amy also loves photography and she is trying to learn how to use a DSLR. I am looking forward to teaching her a few tips and tricks.

Anyway, enough of my writing, I just am really thankful for the opportunity I had to photograph this cute family! Thank you so much Brandon and Amy for letting me take these pictures!
