The Bills Family // American Fork, Utah

Guess what???? It is the time of year when I make my husband go out with me and take pictures together! Are you tired of these yet? I probably will never be tired of this, because I seriously love photography and I personally believe that taking pictures is super important! Maybe not as often as we do, but at least once a year. I love photographing the current stage of life and the current weather that we are experiencing.

I have never really been too much of a fan of snow, but I am kind of digging it right now! Seriously, I love that we can drive up to the mountains and find snow! We are lucky that Utah hasn't hit snow yet, which is amazing!!!!!

I hope that you enjoy these few pictures. We just quickly took a few of them. :)

Lauren & Gabe Engagements // Provo Riverwoods, Utah

First off let me start by saying I am SOOOOO EXCITED for these two to get married and I am even more excited that I get to be apart of their very special day! These two are fantastic together in every way. I cannot begin to tell you how well they interact together. When we first started the session I would tell them when to smile, have a serious face and look away. It got to the point where I didn't really have to do it because they would just automatically do it! Right on cue they would smile together, serious face together, and then look away. They were perfectly in sink and it was adorable. I think that represents their future life together, team work! They are seriously very pleasant to be around as well.

Another favorite part of the photo shoot was how willing they were to try new things. They totally walked across the river on this very thin log. Thankfully they didn't fall in but I got some cute pictures! I think they secretly were hoping they would fall in, and maybe I was a little too. ;) haha Well enjoy these pictures as much as I have enjoyed them!

Congrats you two and thank you SOOOO much for asking me to take these! I seriously look forward to your wedding in Salt Lake!

The Barnes Beloved Session! // American Fork, Utah

I absolutely taking picture of couples because their love for each other is so easy to portray through pictures! Matthew and Amanda are seriously super cute together! Amanda and I were roommates a few years ago and we instantly became friends. We didn't know each other before we were roommates, but I was sure glad that she turned out to be an awesome roommate and friend! We had so much fun together. One very fond memory I had of Amanda was one day she was taking a nap, all though I didn't know. You see Amanda is the tiniest thing you will ever meet, so when she sleeps under her covers, she just blends right in, not even a bump! So you could see how I had no idea that she was there. I can't exactly what remember what happened but she awoke and scared the living day lights out of me!! HA! Seriously fun times with that girl! Glad that we randomly became roommates.

Thank you Amanda for asking me to take these pictures for you. You are gorgeous! You and your husband are super cute together!

5 Year Anniversary Pictures // Covington, Washington

My brother, Michael, and his wife, Tawni, have been married for five years next month!! I am so very thankful to have the opportunity to capture the love that that have for one another. I cannot believe that it has already been five years! I remember growing up and Michael, Michelle (my twin), and I were like best friends and we always played with each other. I think that it helped that we were all so close in age. It always was fun growing up.

I remember the very first day I met Tawni, which was seriously a day I will never forget. Tawni and Michael were living in Arizona at the time. Michael was able to get a little more time off than Tawni, so Michael visited Washington a little sooner. Anyway, we ended up picking Tawni up from the airport. Michael and I didn't know how to get to the airport, but Michelle did. She was super confident that she new exactly how to get there. Well we headed off to the airport. As we were on the highway enjoying each others company suddenly Michelle yells, after passing an exit, oh that is the exit!!!! Right when she said that Michael drives the truck through the grassy shoulder onto the exit!! We were seriously laughing our heads off! I also remember as we were driving to pick Tawni up and we were asking Michael about her, he said the nicest things about her. He was telling us how beautiful he thought she was and how he didn't really like that she thought she wasn't attractive. When he said that I thought, is this my brother? That is so romantic! haha! Anyway, Michael and Tawni are just so precious together and the first day I met her was a great experience for me.

Lastly, I want to thank Michael and Tawni for allowing me to capture the love they share. May your love forever be strong and faithful.

First Home Pictures // Vineyard, Utah // Confessions of a House Owner

My husband and I got married a little over a year ago and right then we decided that we needed to buy a house ASAP! We didn't want to put money down the drain renting and we knew that owning a house is a great thing to accomplish for our future.

After looking for a year we had finally found the home that we wanted to start our family and our dreams in! It's a cute little four bedroom home with lots of storage space, and an unfinished basement for growing room! I love the idea that we could do whatever we like to the basement part. Another thing that we loved about this place, is the location. We are SUPER close to a lake and farming fields are all around us. Seriously I feel like I am in a small town, which we are! I love looking out my windows and seeing the mountains. I can not begin to tell you how thankful I am for this house.

I know that we would not be able to purchase this house, unless Heavenly Father had a hand in it. I am very thankful for a job in order to purchase this house, and I know that God lead me to the current job I have. I work from home and have a very flexible schedule. Anyway, I cannot express enough the love that I have felt from my Savior as we have purchased this house. We could have not done it with out him.

Here are some pictures that I took of my husband and I. One day when we get new furniture and such I will show pictures of the finished product. But I think we will be buying those things a little at a time.

Oh and did I mention I LOVE being married and a home owner!
